We’ve got a seat waiting for you

Our hope is that you will visit us next Sunday, and that you will find yourself at home.

What to Expect

When we meet for worship on Sunday, we endeavor to worship God according the example we see in Scripture. As such, our worship activities reflect those that we see the early church carry out in the book of Acts. We practice through prayer, singing, preaching, and participating in the Lord’s Supper each week. Our goal is to worship God in the way that He desires to be worshipped.

How it works

1) Parking

There is plenty of parking at our church building, feel free to park right up front, you are our honored guest!

2) Foyer

As you enter the front door, our hope is to greet you and welcome you! We can answer any questions you may have before you make your way to your seat.

3) Communion

We practice the Lord’s Supper each week, because we believe that the Bible instructs us to do so. There is no expectation that visitors will participate. However, if you choose to do so, you will find a small piece of bread and juice in prepackaged cups in the main hallway. Please grab one an bring it with you to your seat.

4) Singing

All singing at Dublin-Powell Church of Christ is a capella, and we hope you will join in with us! All lyrics and notes will be shown on a projector screen, and hymnals are provided at each seat if you desire.

5) Children’s Service

After our communion service, children will be dismissed for Children’s Bible hour. Feel free to let your little ones follow the crowd down to our classrooms where our volunteers will meet them and provide an engaging and age-appropriate Bible lesson. If you’d like (or if your child is not yet walking), you’re more than welcome to walk your child downstairs yourself, stairs are located at the rear of the auditorium on either side.

6) After Service

We always appreciate when our visitors hang out after service and give us an opportunity to talk and get to know you! Children will be sent back up to meet you after service is completed.
